It's opener here in the wide open air

I heard my sister having almost the same conversation that I had with my grandmother when I was her age! She asked her why she doesn't drive, and my grandmother said she's too old to learn, and my sister asked her why she doesn't know english, and she said she's too old and she forgets very quickly, and when you're old you're useless. I tried teaching my grandmother english for some months, but my sister did something more. I would just get sad when my grandmother said that she's useless, but my sister told her she's not useless because she can cook, jog very fast ('faster than me!', 'jogging is very easy'), and spit phlegm ('hak pui!')

Aren't photos, especially old photos, incredible!

I feel in a pit. I can't wait to move away from the issues the 'adults' in my family have with each other. Vivienne and I move into pensylvanian red-and-green hall 8 on tuesday morning. Hurray. I wish I could run away forever with a circus in a hot air balloon on a sunny day with clouds blooming in the clear blue sky.

I saw it from 5 metres away in Borders just as we were leaving. There it was, the book I've desired for very much. It was right there with a chewing-gum-red price tag of $17.95, less than half the price I would pay on amazon. I bought it immediately. It smells great. And just now as I flipped through it, I actually felt like I owned a treasure. Like a jewel of some kind. It's just amazing. It's like the bible.

The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, something stupid and holy. Finished Mostly Harmless (book 5, the very last one) and I can't believe the ending, nooooo! Mindblowing mad, goodbye Arthur Dent, and, it is impossible for aliens not to exist.
