YOSSARIAN LIVES
I used to like Holden. Now he seems a bit young. This is so horrible it makes me feel a bit nauseous. Catch-22 is the book I always dreamt would exist because it's absurd, ridiculous, funny, sad, about boys and about war (WWII). I love stuff like that. My driving instructor for today was obsessed about food. I was about to say that I think Singaporeans are ridiculously obsessed with food, when he began rattling off his favourite places to eat with this juicy licking sound and began thinking where he should go for dinner. And I thought, get me outta here!!!!!!!! Anyway, french is getting harder but better and almost everyone left in the class is going onto the next level. A sexy Malay woman in my class wanted to know how to say 'my sexy man' to her french fiance. It's 'mon homme sexy'. I immediately got an image of her saying it tantalisingly in her lingerie in the voice she uses in class, ooh la la, as the teacher would say. I need anger management because I get so angry with my cousins and sister. They play maplestory (that insanely idiotic game) till they're so agitated and stressed and one of them scolded the other 2 'ass****' and 'ass-shit' on the phone hatefully. He's only 11. And he said 'wah lau' to his mother. I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is this unbelievable mess that everything is coming to. All the kids are myopic, stay home and play the computer like addicts, are hooked onto stupid chinese dramas, speak in perpetual singlish and are selfish. What about playing in a treehouse, or doing art, or going on a picnic, or cycling, or frisbee, or soccer, or the park, or being real children, or real good movies or anything but what almost every other kid I know in Singapore is doing because their parents let them?! What has happened to good old fashioned fun?!?!?!?!!!!
(I made moon-blue tie-dye t-shirts today. I am Jack's growing heart.)
