I just watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off- PERFECT!!!!!!!! It's about ol ferris bueller who ingeniusly tricks his parents to go off for a day of fun with his best friend cameron in cameron's father's marvellous red glossy vintage car and his girlfriend. they go to town and he sings twist and shout at a town festival!
i got a new computer today! i can make movies with it! my apple will come someday. the lovely sleek white thing. my ipod almost came today. i ate the last bazhang today (YES i had the honour!) and that should amount to almost 20!!
tomorrow is the class sleepover at corrie's totally air-conditioned home! she mentioned going to the beach at night! did you know the roads at around 4 am are totally empty and devoid of people, just like a movie set with artificial night and you could squawk around like a decapitated chicken or lie on the road and you wouldnt be killed unless you were really unlucky. i absolutely cannot wait, and hedonism really is amazing.
by the way the exams are now over at this point of my life, and ever as unlucky as i am, the bleeding womb struck me just after that.
for now, i shall enjoy my bloody old lovely computer, with its dull brown grey bronze desktop theme and whenever you right click you hear a bicycle bell ringing and when you turn it off this low voice makes a booming sound which sometimes jerks me, and my windows media player and the great music here and the now black background with a picture of one of the men (the tallest neil) from the urban dream capsule in a fur caveman thing playing the clarinet with funny sunglasses on his bald beige pink head, and the neon nerd icons on my desktop, and the absolute slowness of this all and the enjoyment i admittedly actually derive from working on such a primitive computer instead of the now high tech absolutely fast one which does not have desktop themes. yes, i actually like this primitive computer of mine a lot. and this is why my room is so cluttered with so many things i never bear to throw away. i have labelled boxes of letters, christmas cards, childhood keepsakes, toys, more shoeboxes of birthday presents and boxes of ben and jerry's around storing stationery and elmos and berts and all and 2 big stacks of diaries with which i still dont quite know what to do in case of sudden death and all my toenail and fingernail clippings lying on the dirty 19 year old carpet due to my obsession to trim them almost once every 2 days without bothering to fetch the dustbin which is a metre away.
another random thought: i am going to be 17 very soon!!!!!! so far i have just been horrified by the thought. sometimes i want to stay 15 or 16 forever. and 17 doesnt seem quite a so very glorious number. it's...sweet sixteen, sassy...sexy...seventeen?! i suddenly had a thought that i could do some kind of ritual on my birthday. i mean, something special! like a bubble bath or let my friends cut my hair. or actually wait for my brother to wish me a very happy birthday. he has, in his lifetime, progressed from giving me rubber bands picked up from around the room, or tissue papers from the tissue box, plucked right in front of my eyes and presented to me roughly with a sheepish yet happy laugh.
HOHOHO! i hope it blacks out at the sleepover!!!!!!!!!!
