oh and today i went to yeehan's flower plantation! what a magical place! took buses ALL THE WAY there. i slept half the journey to bishan but was gloriously awoken by shouts of 'american woman! stay away from me. american woman! mama let me be!' from austin powers. i liked that happening. somehow last year under, perhaps, my friends' influence, ive grown to like flowers! amazing. maybe it was because i took literature as well, makes you see the beauty in things. the freezer we went into smelt GREAT, full of flowery smells. which aren't sweet, contrary to popular belief. we walked to the neighbouring flower plantation and saw men, young and old, with long hair tied up. interesting. i'd love to work somewhere like that. she proudly told them, this is my friend! and they were all nice and friendly. i bought 8 evil pink mary smiths for the women of my family. the flower plantation has this primitive, native sort of smell, which is really interesting i find. on american idol that night, in hawaii, i saw someone wearing my favourite flower! the huge white petals and yellow middle. which made me scream as i screamed when i saw john mayer for a millisecond during the grammy award trailers. mine and mango's rhyme fest is turning into an obsession, i cant read without rhyming sometimes! we rhyme all the time, its better than to mime. its really challenging and fun, we rhyme about anything under the sun. from sperm to perm, song to thong, ding and dong, weehee and yohoho, and a very goodnight, i must take my flight.

my mother opened her treasure trove of jewellery which she was contemplating to throw away and, we found the most amazing things SHE used to wear, can you believe it!!!! LOVELY JEWELLERY, THE MOST AMAZING ONES YOU CAN FIND FOM YOUR MOTHER'S OLD COLLECTION YOU NEVER KNEW SHE HAD.
1. big round purple and black earrings, they are HUGE. diameter about 1.5cm.
2. african dollop handpainted brown earrings!
3. old silver blackish flower earrings with a light blue middle
4. pink rectangle earrings
5. totally retro rectangle earrings with orange to yellow curved stripe patterns on em
6. this super long african coloured chain her best friend gave her
7. an african bead necklace
8. this super cool pendant, except it cant really be a pendant as it isnt small and demure and...ew. its big and made of old silver i think, and the design is an african mohican riding on a horse, and its a sideview. 60s rock and roll!
9. dangly slim shell earrings
10. medium sized gold hoops, very nice
11. thick old silver hoops with random patterns
12. a golden locket with a stone in the front. i dont know its name but it looks like blue black silky water.
this is probably one of the best discoveries of my life.
