desiree and mary-the hosts!

the red hippy mrs claus and mary

Yohohoho!!!!! I am still dizzy, ditzy, sleepy, giddy! I can't ever forget this morning, THIS MORNING for god's sake at 5 plus when glenda and i were chatting on the sofas after i read all the lovely christmas cards and i just...fell asleep! and before i knew it danielle was standing over me, and people were leaving! i got up and shouted for my camera and they found it!!!!!!!!!! there was this point i just got so obssessed and disillusioned with looking for it! 'where is my darn camera???? where is my darn camera????'

the polkadot party was an absolutely groovy, psychedelic and splendid affair! it was unbelievable! everyone dressed up so beautifully i could hardly believe it was happening. i screamed when i saw ying ying, leopard print skirt, hair tied ever so high! and li ping! FOOK YOU! that was totally groovy. and felyna, becca and brenda's sequins! it was just wonderful. everyone was so dressed up, so colourful and glimmery!; we were a retro convention, a hippy parade, a groovy group of ladies!

the great hippie hunt was super exciting. we waited at newton not so patiently as every single face on the train looked at us. i liked that. i only wish it was 5 times as crowded. newton is nice, its halloween coloured, big and just about the nicest looking mrt station there is. everyone was having problems with the darn it mackerel clue! suddenly the train came and we stared down the row and just saw red blinking lights, no one. but then, suddenly, a group of girls appear out of nowhere, decked in clothes running towards us!! the group hugs had to be the funniest. this man they approached said, im sorry im not wearing any underwear today. and i forgot what. and this group of teenage guys who looked chinese speaking! they just smiled, laughed a bit and walked away quickly, afraid! hoho! they were afraid of us! i like that too! and another teenage guy, clearly subtly excited yet blurish, got a very funny group hug from everyone as he just stood there like a wood block, suddenly surrounded by so many colourful girls, i think the most girls he probably has ever been surrounded by. must have been a weird moment for him! a weirdly wonderful moment? hoho. yahooooo and all the groups just came running! it was hilarious! strangers who just watched, and its nice we're giving them a little show of our own! i like to think of it as the velma show. then we rushed back!!!!!

wow. i typed that a few days ago and promptly got dizzy. after that we went to the swing to enjoy some peace, quiet and company. then we played played played the nights away with pictionary!!!!!!!!

TOMORROW. is my primary class gathering. 8 girls and 16 guys. absolutely exciting, dont you agree?
